Are you prepared for an emergency? Whether you're stranded due to a disaster or have to bug out, these kits are packed and ready to go.

NOTE:  If you plan to do a lot of walking with your survival backpack, it is highly recommended that you use the external frame (see options). The frame is a must in cold environments, as it keeps the backpack from direct contact with your back,  thus reducing the build-up of sweat. Sweat in cold environments can lead to hypothermia. 

Due to the nature of the military surplus market, your survival kit may be packed in an O.D. or Woodland Camo ALICE pack. (All purpose, Lightweight, Individual, Carrying, Equipment). We never know what will be available, but we strive to obtain packs that are in the best condition. The packs we use are in used, good condition. They show some wear, and may show a soldier's name printed on them, as they have been used in the field by U.S. troops.

We use the ALICE pack because it is a battlefield tested piece of gear that can take a beating. Also, by using military surplus, we save you a lot of money. You could pay one or two hundred dollars for a new civilian backpack without any gear inside.

The Survival Zone reserves the right to substitute items as necessary. Items will be of comparable value.

Woodland Camo ALICE Packs available as an option with the One Person, Two Person, and Basic Survival Backpacks. These packs are genuine U.S. G.I., used, in good condition.
