The Companion Survival Backpack was designed to accompany the One Person Survival Backpack as an alternative to either the Two Person Survival Backpack or 2-One Person Survival Backpacks. The Two Person Kit is a bit heavy for some people, and if two people are planning to be together (keep the 2 kits in the trunk) or Bug Out together, The Companion Kit eliminates duplications in the main kit and divides the load between two people. (there are some duplications of essential gear-you can never really have enough). The Companion has lots of free space inside, which allows for extra gear, food, clothes, etc., and frees up space in the Main kit for the same. Note: The Companion is not a stand alone survival kit - it is the second person's gear from a Two Person Kit.
